The first 10 weeks focus on developing essential creative skills: counting bars (8s/16s), feeling tempo, subdividing beats, and placing lyrics on-grid. Participants will learn to write complete verses and hooks using advanced rhyme schemes, vivid imagery, and punchlines, while also developing breath control, projection, diction, and mic technique for both studio and stage environments. The course emphasizes stagecraft, teaching body language, blocking, pacing, and crowd engagement to ensure confident live performances. Learners will also gain experience performing for the camera, mastering framing, eyeline, and energy, and will receive critical feedback through video reviews. By the end of the creative phase, each participant will have built a creative showcase set and delivered it to a live audience, demonstrating their growth as a performer. The final 2 weeks are dedicated to the business side of music. Learners will discover how to market themselves as artists, build a professional brand, and navigate the essentials of music promotion, event planning, and networking. The business modules cover self-promotion strategies, social media, learn about EPK (electronic press kit) , and practical steps for launching a music career. Throughout the program, professional habits are instilled, including warmups, rehearsal planning, file management, and industry etiquette. This program is open to complete beginners and developing MCs alike, providing a supportive, interactive environment for all learners to thrive.
