Rena Cokayne — also known as Rena Reiki, "The Lyrical Life Coach" —The Music Rehab Centre brings together over two decades of experience in both holistic wellbeing and the music industry.

​

My musical journey started in the late 90's as a dancer in the under ground UK Garage and DnB scene. I was writing lyrical content but doing nothing with it. I focused on raising my son and building my family from 2000 at just 19 years old, whilst still writing in between and building a career in the holistic field, which helped me on my own journey of self discovery and healing, with various mental and physical health conditions i was batteling myself whilst raising 3 kids who are also Neuro Divergent..

 

Finally returning to the music industry in 2020 as a songwriter and lyricist especially through lockdown, which gave me the platform to express my creative talent as a Garage MC.

This lead onto me hosting my own bi weekly radio show for 2 years at 2Hi Radio in Reading, composing and featuring on several tracks, hosting events and developing emerging artists at Intravenous Events to this day, with a great business partner and team.

Since 2008, I have successfully helped people heal and grow as a Holistic Health and Spiritual Life Coach through my practice, Renaissance Wellbeing Clinic.

 

I've recently completed a BA Hons Degree in Music Business and Entrepreneurship at ICMP Kilburn (2026).

Now, Im channelling this same passion into creating professional development and transformational music courses, empowering emerging artists to find their voice and purpose using the same tools and techniques i've used for my own journey.

At the Music Rehab Centre, we blend professional music training with personal development and wellbeing, helping aspiring artists rebuild confidence, release limiting beliefs, and realise their full potential — on and off the stage.

Our "Artist Within" courses combine sound therapy, mindfulness, and vision-building to help learners align their energy, overcome self-doubt, and step confidently into their creative calling — equipped with the skills, knowledge, and qualifications to thrive in both music and the music business..
