THE KINGS TRUST-ACHIEVE PROGRAMME

At Music Rehab Centre Ltd / Music Rehab Project CIC, in addition to the creative music courses we offer in artist development, mindset and wellbeing, we are now able to provide a structured pathway supporting young people to succeed in education and beyond.

Aim of Programme

The Achieve programme supports Young People aged 11-19 (up to 25 if an EHCP or

equivalent in place) to succeed in education through a ‘Personal Development and

Employability Skills’ curriculum and recognises achievement with Ofqual recognised PDE

qualifications issued by the King’s Trust.

Personal Development – Young People develop positive attitudes and commitment to their

education, by improving motivation and developing resilience in the face of difficulties.

Through the programme content Young people make a positive, tangible contribution to the

life of the Organisation and/or the wider community, whilst learning to actively support the

well-being of themselves and other Young People.

Employability Skills - the programme supports guidance on careers advice, introducing

world-of-work skills and facilitating experience of work and contact with employers to

encourage Young People to aspire, make good choices and understand what they need to

do to reach and succeed in the careers to which they aspire.

The Achieve programme supports the progress of all Young People, ensuring they have the

qualifications and skills to progress to their next stages of education, training or employment

As a Community Interest Company, income from private sessions helps us subsidise free and funded music opportunities for our community.
